Graffiti
Art by Xavi heats things up in August at Nuwandart
On
Friday August 1st, Nuwandart presents their new exhibition
of cutting edge artwork. Local artist Xavi, (AKA Jason Pannenton)
will present his newest creations as well as some old favorites.
Xavi,
discovered Graffiti art at the tender age of 11. This awakened
in him deep feelings of wonder, passion, and recognition
of the unspeakable beauty and potency of God's Creativity.
Graffiti Art became Xavi's primary passion throughout High
School while he simultaneously received traditional schooling
in art.
During
High School Xavi experienced the power and expression in
the techno music and art of the rave scene. Xavi was inspired
by the music and artwork of the whole rave scene. The combination
of the graffiti and the rave art resulted in an alchemical
combination of the two, which lead to a volcanic explosion
of creative
expression.
We
are excited about sharing this original and passionate artwork
with the public. The show will run through the month of
August. For more information please call the gallery at
